As an award winning teacher, pharmacist and former firefighter, Dr. Louise Achey (rhymes with "Wacky") has been involved in health and fitness for over 35 years. Graduating from Washington State University's School of Pharmacy in 1979, she completed her Doctor of Pharmacy from Idaho State University in 2004.

Dr. Louise spent 12 years as a hospital and nursing home pharmacist including serving as her hospital's "leech disposal specialist". Her clear and humorous style earned her Clinical Instructor of the Year 4 times in the University of Washington's MEDEX Physician Assistant program.
