Keith Pepperell

Dr. Keith Pepperell is a not unduly modest, elderly, gin swigging, curmudgeon, writer, professor, and film maker who has taught at Otterbein University, The Ohio State University, The University of Western Ontario, Columbus College of Art and Design, and The Middle-Eastern Technical University. He was Chair of The Ohio Medieval Colloquium. At Otterbein University he taught Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion, and History. His film, Playing it Forward, won Audience Choice Best Film at The Marina Del Rey Film Festival. He was an on-camera consultant historian on The History Channel Series Surviving History and the American Heroes Channel’s mini-series American Titans. As Keith Collins he was a nationally touring stand-up comic who played over 800 clubs, theaters, and auditoriums including The Fox Theater, Atlanta, The Orpheum Theater, Boston and The Palace Theater, Columbus. Dr. Pepperell has far too many books in print, almost none of which are worth reading. He does not know his social security number, his license plate number, or the birthdays of his three children who are all available for adoption into a good home. His old chum Kurt Vonnegut once described one of Pepperell's works as "an unrewarding read." He cheats at golf.
