Fred Bedell

Fred Bedell grew up in Brooklyn, N.Y.. He became a teacher, guidance counselor, Assistant Principal,Assistant Superintendent and Superintendant of schools. He was elected as deputy Mayor of The Village of Ossining, N.Y. He was appointed as The Executive Deputy of the Division of Youth and Assistant Commissioner of Correctional Services in New York State and he was also appointed as the Director of the National Council on Disability in Washington DC. He has earned a bachelors and Master's degree fron New York University and a Doctorate from the University of Massachussetts. He has written numerous aticles on education and public policyissues.
