John P. McWilliams

The author, John P. McWilliams, has first authored New Mexico: A Glimpse Into an Enchanted Land. Since October 2013, he has five poems and three sketches published in the award-winning anthology, More Voices of New Mexico. Both are available for purchase at www.amazon.com. Against the Wind, Courageous Apache Women was published in July 2015, and it too is available at most on-line bookstores. Santa's Favorite Christmas Tales, a collection of nine fictional short stories with Christmas as the central theme, should be available around Thanksgiving time.

He has two websites: www.briaventures.com regarding his writing projects and writing/typesetting services, and www.apachemgmtconsult.com regarding his management consulting services and management training courses.

The author has lectured about Lozen, the Warms Springs Apache Warrior Woman at the New Mexico History Museum in Santa Fe, NM and at the El Camino Real International Heritage Center, between Socorro and T or C, NM. Four additional presentations are already scheduled for the first half of 2016. He also reads his writings and tells Celtic stories monthly in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

He is a member of various southwestern Historical Societies, and he is a member of the Southwest Writers Association, Western Writers of America, the Booth Writers Guild and the National Association of Distinguished Professionals (NADP). He has released several Press Releases about his qualification and acceptance of NADP membership, and of his recent book publications.

He is also a 'free-lance writer' for various newspapers and magazines. He has submitted several poems and other writings into various contests. His popular book, Against the Wind: Courageous Apache Women, is under review by several organizations. This book is too available on-line with Amazon.com and other on-line bookstores.
