Sam owned a large private duty home care agency in Little Rock. In only a few short years, he took his agency from the ground floor of zero clients and no employees to becoming a nationally recognized and award winning operation. A recognized expert in the arena of aging and senior services, Sam has spoken on aging issues from Boston to San Francisco.
He now mentors and coaches home care agency owners who are committed to empowering older adults to remain as independent as possible in the setting of their choice.
Sam has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Alzheimer's Arkansas and on the Boards of the Home Care Association of Arkansas and Arkansas Gerontological Society. He is
He is a combat veteran of both Afghanistan and Iraq where he commanded Special Operations Forces and was awarded two Bronze Star Medals and both Valorous and Presidential Unit Commendations.
Sam earned his BA and a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and is a Certified Alzheimer's Educator.
