David Espinoza

David Espinoza was born in Weslaco, Texas, and shortly after moved up north to Dimmitt, Texas. His family was poor and after his sophomore year, in 1976, the entire family moved to Oregon. He loves the northwest and enjoys encouraging kids to get an education. A Gervais High School graduate and a Chemeketa Community College graduate, he now lives in Salem, Oregon, and enjoys writing inspiring sports stories - non-fiction and realism-fiction. A three-sport athlete growing up, he played football at the professional level for two years. David's experiences give him the visualization and imagination to create stories with positive messages.
