I grew up in Marysville, Ohio the eldest of three. Reading stories about horses was my favorite thing to do along with drawing them. My mother kept all the little stick horse stories I had written and I still have them. Instead of watching TV I wrote stories. Several writing contests were entered and I won second prize when I was a teenager.
When I came to Florida to live, I met a lady with horses and cattle. I was able to fulfill a dream of being a cowboy. She gave me a horse to learn to ride on until I bought my own.
Now retired in the country with my husband, I have written and published,
Loren's Journey of Faith. The story is about a city girl who goes on a two week camping trip with two horses, a tent and book on surviving the outdoors. A worn Bible helps her find her faith and the purpose of life.
The first of June, 2015, I have published a new book. This is a Preteen mystery story that takes place in the woods where I rode my horse. It is called: The Mystery of the Old Mill.
Nine year old Charlie discovers something going on in the woods where she rides her palomino pony, Peanut. Along with her 15 year old brother and their two friends, they discover the mystery and begin to solve it.
