Ann Wicker

Writer and editor Ann Wicker was in the newspaper and magazine business for many years. A graduate of Davidson College, she also holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Queens University of Charlotte. She edited Making Notes: Music of the Carolinas, a nonfiction anthology idea she took to Novello Festival Press. She helped Ann Moses write Meow! My Groovy Life with Tiger Beat's Teen Idols. Wicker was a co-founder of The Weathers Creek Writers' Series and has been a presenter at the South Carolina Book Festival, Carolina Writers’ Night, and the Southern Festival of Books. She works with writers as an editor and writing coach and her own work has appeared in a number of regional magazines. Wicker also contributed an essay to 27 Views of Charlotte, an Eno Publishers anthology.
