Nigel Melville

Nigel Melville was born in Scotland, schooled in England, and returned to Scotland for a couple of degrees from St Andrews University. He spent most of his working life in post-16 education in England; with the good, or ill, fortune to work in Liverpool and London in the early 60s, moving to Belfast in time for the start of the troubles. From 1973 he worked in Devon's adult education service, retiring in 1996 to share with his wife in the running of a tearoom on Dorset's Jurassic Coast. In 2013, they semi-retired to run a B & B.
