Suzanne McConnell

Hi, I am Suzanne Nalley Tattan McConnell. I was born in Hemet California to teenage parents who were not ready to be parents. When I was eight years old they joined a Christian group called "The Move" The leader of this cult was Sam Fife, a Baptist minister from Miami Florida.

I have often said that Sam may not have given my father his demons but his teachings gave those demons wings. My parents were likely seeking help with my father's problems but that never really happened.

My first book is the story of my own childhood memories. I am sure that facts are not accurate because there was a lot of trauma and a lot of repression on my part trying to make things untrue that were true and wishing that things were a different reality than the one we lived in day in and day out. What I am sure of is that the trauma happened, the violations and the betrayal of my childhood trust was real.

That said, those things did form who I became and I am happy with who I am today and the journey seeking truth and reality has taken me around the world and has given me amazing life experiences. I hope to write more about those experiences in the future. Thanks for the interest and keep looking for new books from me as I have several in the wings!
