Satish C. Sekar was born in England in 1963. He is a widely travelled journalist. His two books to date are about a notorious miscarriage of journalist. He is the founder of two not for profit organisations The Fitted-In Project and Empower-Sport Ltd. A specialist in legal issues and sport he has written widely on both subjects.
Sekar is a respected consultant on forensic science and miscarriages of justice. His pioneering work on the Lynette White Inquiry resulted in history being made. Her murder was horrific. His persistence resulted in the case being reopened twice. The second time the real murderer Jeffrey Gafoor was brought to justice - the first time a miscarriage of justice had been resolved in Britain in the DNA age by the conviction of the real killer.
He has a great interest in history and plans to write more books, but not just on miscarriages of justice. The book he really wants to write is a new perspective on the Haitian Revolution of 1791-1804 - a sadly neglected event. He remains very interested in sport, especially football - he refuses to call it soccer!
