About the Jane Pace Science-Fiction Adventure Series

Jane started as a story I told myself as I was trying to fall asleep. I do this sort of thing every night and had since I was little, so I didn’t think anything of it. Then one day I realized that I had created an ongoing storyline of her adventures—and that I was still with her three years later. Some of my pre-sleep musings were shit, but some of it was pretty good so I began thinking about it a bit more seriously and what followed eventually became the Jane Pace novels.

While I sincerely hope that someone besides my brother and sister (cheerleader and editor, respectively) are entertained by these stories, the work has been its own reward. I have fallen in love with each of my non-evil characters one by one and have truly enjoyed making them suffer, revealing a sadistic streak I hadn’t known I had.

I have been writing for a very long time (longer than I care to admit), but I can honestly say that this is the most fun I’ve ever had.
