Yvetta ?Doll? Franklin

Yvetta "Doll" Franklin was born in Chicago, Il. She was coined the nick name "Doll" for having such red curly locks at birth. She attended schools in Chicago, later moved to California where she earned several college degrees and credentials. Her most wonderful aspect of her life was raising her daughter Stephanie who she loves immensely. Yvetta has taught elementary school children for decades and she isn't tired yet. She enjoys reading, playing piano, line dancing and bike riding. Her books are educational, entertaining, empowering and Common Core aligned.
