Dr. Erica D. Gamble

Dr. Erica Gamble is a Human Resources Professional. She is a Human Capital Consultant who specializes in human resources issues and in management development to create forward thinking workplaces. Dr. Gamble has worked for several fortune 500 companies including AT&T, Progressive Insurance Company, and The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Erica is also a professional facilitator, trainer, and writer.

Dr. Gamble is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Allatoona SHRM chapter in North Georgia where she serves as a Board Member in the position of The Workforce Readiness CLA (Core Leadership Area) Director. Dr. Gamble contributes regularly to professional publications including a book chapter for Georgia’s Roundtable in Higher Education and a recent article in the Cobb County High School Chronicle (North Cobb High School) on “Plotting your own Path” What’s Ahead?

Dr. Gamble has worked in Human Resources since 2000; in addition to starting a consulting company in 2006: she has consulted with clients in the Ohio, Florida and Georgia markets, and facilitated a myriad of training and planning sessions.

Dr. Gamble has worked as an HR manager, a training manager, an organization development consultant, and has more than 10 years of healthcare experience. In addition to serving as HR Manager, Dr. Gamble is also currently, a professor at Grand Canyon University, St. Leo University, Columbia Southern University and Strayer University.

Dr. Gamble has an Associate’s degree in Small Business Management from Cuyahoga Community College (Ohio), Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Myers University (Ohio), an MBA and a Doctorate Degree in Organizational Behavior and Management from The University of Phoenix.

Dr. Gamble is a past board member and chairperson for the Sickle Cell Association of Ohio and still currently serves on the volunteer and fundraising committees for the Georgia chapter. This is the first children's book of many that Dr. Gamble plans to publish on sickle cell anemia. Be on the look out for book #2 this fall.

Dr. Gamble is married with two sons and currently resides in Atlanta Georgia.
