Lenie Nilsen

Lenie Nilsen (1954 - ) was born in Leeston, Canterbury, New Zealand to a Dutch father and a New Zealand (Kiwi) mother. Lenie grew up in Blenheim, Marlborough and later moved to Wellington, New Zealand where she and her husband Colin brought up three children. Lenie worked at National Library of New Zealand for 24 years, and more recently Archives New Zealand within the Department of Internal Affairs. Lenie's love of all things Christian and more importantly the stories of the Bible drew her to tell the stories in her own words. The Elephant and the Dove is her first book with another on the way.
