Kate Saller

Author Kate Saller is a writer and humanitarian activist living in St. Louis, Missouri. She wrote horticultural articles for several years and now focuses on creative non-fiction. Her essays have been published in The Damselfly Press and SNReview. She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Goucher College and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Syracuse University.

Saller has travelled extensively in Kenya, Uganda, Niger, and Nigeria on humanitarian trips through Rotary International service organization. There she has immunized children, provided mosquito nets to orphanages, and provided clean-water wells to rural villages. She served as the 2013-2014 Rotary International District Governor for eastern Missouri.
