Jim Serger

Amazon home page, pretty crazy in that years ago I hated to read. In 2010 I picked up my first book in 20 years, which took me three weeks to complete. Since then I have plowed through nearly 450 books, 80 audio books and then wrote my first book Go The Distance in 2011 with my co-author; my dad. I graduated from University of Cincinnati--served 4 years in the Navy. Lived in Japan for four years, climbed Mt. Fuji and back packed all throughout Asia multiple times.

In 2012 I rode a bicycle from Carmel, Indiana to Orlando, Florida on behalf of my friend battling Multiple Myeloma Cancer. I have worked in the customer service industry for over 25 years. 6 years at a little convenient store through high school and college, 4 years US Navy, 18 years packaged ice industry and currently in operations in the aviation industry. Happily married to my best friend, and the proud father of a very active and loving daughter. I enjoy giving back to others/ the art of leadership and the craft of understanding/science of customer service. People first, outstanding motto to apply daily.
