Cheryl A. Lehman

Cheryl Ann Lehman was born in Decatur, Illinois in the same hospital where her father was born years before - the old St. Mary's Hospital. As a young nurse she was privileged to work with Dr. Pistorius from Macon, IL....who had been her mother's physician and who had delivered the infant Cheryl. Many years later, she retired from the University of Texas System, where she variously worked as staff nurse, Clinical Nurse Specialist and School of Nursing Faculty - at both The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Lehman supports practicing nurses through her website at www.nurs-ed.com and volunteers as a staff RN at The Hill Country Mission for Health in Boerne, TX.
