Dan Perlman is a trained chef and sommelier and an internationally published food and wine writer with more than forty years of experience. His kitchen adventures range from his teen years at The Side Door in his hometown of Ann Arbor, Michigan to later stints with Tom Colicchio at Mondrian, and on to sous chef at The Sazerac House and chef at The Kitchen Club, all in New York City. He is well known for the creation of award-winning wine lists at the New York restaurants American Renaissance, Felidia, Veritas, AZ, and pazo. He now resides in Buenos Aires – eating, drinking, traveling, teaching, writing, and tending his garden.
