Robin Tamblyn

Robin Tamblyn (1976-) is an English author, primarily of gay fiction. Robin was born in Watford, Hertfordshire and attended Liverpool John Moores University as a Screen Studies student from 1995-98.

Robin currently resides in Exeter, Devon and is employed by the Rural Payments Agency as an administrative worker. She is autistic and self-identifies as asexual and heteroromantic.

Robin was included in a 2014 Civil Service guide of "Inspiring LGB* Role Models" and is a founder member of the Civil Service network for colleagues on the asexual and aromantic spectrums, Ace Space.

Robin's book Looking Closer, the world's first published biography of Kevin Spacey, has now been re-issued with several rare and previously unseen photographs from Spacey's family archives.

One With A Bullet, a new book of short stories featuring Eddie Noone, the private eye from coupling, was published in December 2023.
