Dean Ridings

DEAN RIDINGS (B.A. Mass Communication, Cal State–East Bay; M.A. Communications, Wheaton Graduate School; M.Div. and Th.D., Trinity Theological Seminary) has held leadership positions in the communication and publication offices of five parachurch ministries, including Prison Fellowship Ministries, Focus on the Family, and The Navigators. He was president of the Evangelical Press Association from May 2011 to 2013.

Dean served in the California Air National Guard, 129th Air Rescue and Recovery Group, in the role of Chapel Management Specialist, and received an honorable discharge with the rank of TSgt.

Today, Dean is a pastor at Calvary Worship Center, Colorado Springs; a field representative with Navigator Church Ministries, a ministry of The Navigators; and affiliate faculty at Colorado Christian University.

Dean is the author or co-author of numerous articles and spiritual resources through the years—including “Going Deeper in Intimacy with God,” "Fight for the Faith," and "Everyday Discipling" YouVersion Bible Reading plans; “The Kingdom Life Journey: Living with Kingdom-Minded Purpose” Bible Study workbook (Make a Mark Ministries); and study notes for the PathLight Bible (Biblica) and “Plan for Discipleship” for the Pastor’s Bible (Group/Zondervan).

He is also the author of "The Pray! Prayer Journal: Daily Steps Toward Praying God’s Heart" (NavPress).

Dean and his wife, Kim, have four adult children.
