Henry Adkins

Henry O. Adkins is an Inspirational Speaker and author of “Life Lessons Common Sense: Your Way To Success,” and “Common Sense Parents/Raising Great Kids.” He Speaks, lectures and conducts workshops across the country.

He worked for thirty years in Social and Community Services. Mr. Adkins Directed a City-wide Homeless Ministry in the City of Dallas for five years, and worked for several more years in Social Services Ministry. He has also worked for 30 years as an Adjunct College Professor, a College Administrator, a Federal Government Administrator, and he is a Viet Nam era U.S. Army Disabled Veteran. He and wife Sue (also an author) have been married for over 49 years. They have three college educated children. One daughter (an Attorney) and two sons (one a writer and one a customer relations specialist for Delta Airlines).

He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Dallas Baptist University, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas. He received his Certification as a Family Development Specialist from the University of Iowa and a Licensed Social Work Associate from the state of Texas. His wife is a graduate of Texas Woman’s and Southern Methodist Universities
