Eric Myford

Author and poet currently residing in Tucson, AZ. Ever since he was a child, Eric Myford has had an obsession with horror. Fortunately, his parents never took issue with his genre of choice and allowed him to watch and read what he wanted. At the age of six, he first discovered Stephen King, Pet Sematary to be specific, and the rest is history. Eric Myford began his Encyclopedia of Horror and Suspense Movies project in 2010. The idea was simple; watch, review and chronicle every genre movie ever made, spoiler free, making it the ultimate reference for horror fans worldwide. Big budget, no budget, indie, foreign, domestic and everything in-between. Not just limiting himself to the cream of the crop, he watches everything from terrible to amazing to give a wide array of releases, enabling people to judge for themselves what they would like to watch. One person’s trash is another person’s treasure after all.

In addition to his non-fictional escapades, Eric Myford also writes fiction, tending to also skew toward the horror genre more often than not. His series, The Dark Poetry Collection, captures beauty and the macabre, marrying death and love together to create a style of poetry not common amidst a horror backdrop. Expect short story collections, novels and exploration into other media in the near future.
