Jan enjoys museums, travel, and long walks. She has her degree in Business Studies from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and loves living in New England with her husband and daughter.
Her debut novel, Small Town Charm: A Love Story, is a hilarious romantic comedy set in New England with wonderfully amusing characters and situations that make you laugh out loud.
Her second novel, The Journal of Sarah Jane, went the opposite direction. As a writer, Jan wanted to explore her ability to successfully write in more than one genre. The Journal of Sarah Jane, is a tremendous psychological tragedy that deals with the subject matter of extreme grief and what can happen to someone if they do not get the help they need in order to deal with it.
Jan's third novel, Small Town Charm: Believe It Matters, is the second in her series, Small Town Charm, and all of the wild and wonderful characters are back. Grace and Daniel continue to raise their twins in this charming town of Abernathy as they deal with all the craziness their friends and family get into.
Her fourth book, Cameo the Cat Finds a new Home, is written for a beloved cat who was adopted from the local shelter.
