While serving in the military, he was awarded the Army Commendation Medal by the Secretary of the Army for personally bringing about superior relationships between the military and the civilian law enforcement community. He exhibited with Andy Warhol at Magidson Fine Art, NYC in the show, "Serious Art, Serious Fun". He worked as a model builder creating special effects for the blockbuster movie, "Con Air", and was a producer of the Emmy-nominated "Local Edition" on CNN.
