Chris Lombard

Chris first came into contact with horses at the age of twenty-six in his home state of Maine. Within months he was inspired to go in search of learning more about horses, their nature, and the many ways of working with them. This journey would take him to the mountains of Colorado, the Hollywood Hills of California, and the wild borderlands of southern Arizona.

He returned to Maine in 2003 and set out on his own to help people and their horses, working with them in his own unique way. Chris’s work now takes him all over the east coast, working with people both one-on-one and in group clinics. He has written two books -- Land of the Horses: A True Story of a Lost Soul and a Life Found, and The Horses in Our Stars: A Story of Life, Love, and the Journey Within. He has also written essays on horsemanship, animals, and nature for many magazines.

Chris currently lives in Maine and continues to be inspired by horses, what they show us, and the journey we take with them.
