Ben Hamby

Ben Hamby has had just about every job imaginable. From performing at renaissance festivals, working as a personal chef, cubical farming for major corporations and everything in between; he’s done it all. Ben has a rather obsessive fascination with history, which manifests itself in the Arcana series. His background in improvisational theater and costume creation helped him to create several personae, outfits and weapons (most of which find their way into his writing in one way or another). His current 'normal' job is reading comic books, making props and accessories, and lecturing at anime, gaming, and multimedia conventions about anything and everything steampunk. Ben lives in Austin, TX.
