Chuck Bagby and Robin Harris met at the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO on January 16, 1973 after an Aerospace Science class and married August 18, 1973. They have three grown children (Debi, Ben, Dan) and 11 grandchildren.
Chuck worked full-time as an evangelist for ten years, completing foreign assignments in both Honduras and Argentina. Following that, while dedicating two decades to the business world, he continued to “do the work of an evangelist” (2 Timothy 4:5 NASB).
Chuck continues to teach today through Burning Heart Bible Studies seminars, books, and blog. He authors books, conducts "The Jesus Story: What I Wish I Had Known" seminars, and fills speaking engagements to address problematic biblical issues. Chuck holds a Ph.D. in biblical studies from the Theological University of America (TUA), having previously graduated from the Sunset International Bible Institute (SIBI). The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) awarded him an M.B.A. in International Business, with concentrations in international marketing and international finance. He earned a B.A. in Spanish Literature from the University of Missouri – Columbia (UMC).
A former international business executive, Chuck specialized in team leadership, cross-cultural communication, and organizational turnarounds. Employing his personally developed T-E-A-M leadership methodology, he consistently transformed underperforming organizations into high-performance teams. He has carried out business within Argentina, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, El Salvador, England, Honduras, Mexico, Peru, Spain, Sweden, and Uruguay.
Chuck served on the Advisory Council of the College of Business at UTSA and on the Entrepreneurs’ Roundtable at the same university.
