Joe Eshleman received his Master of Library and Information Studies degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2007. He has been the Instruction Librarian at Johnson & Wales University Library-Charlotte since 2008. During this time, he has taught numerous library instruction sessions. Prior to becoming a librarian, he was a systems administrator at Nucor Steel and an IT Director at the science museum Discovery Place, both of which are located in Charlotte. Mr. Eshleman completed the Association of College & Research Libraries' Immersion program in 2009. This program is an intensive program of training and education for instruction librarians. He has presented on numerous occasions including the American Library Association Conference, the Lilly Education Conference, and the Teaching Professor Technology Conference.
