L R. Bergquist

I'm L. R. Bergquist and I love to write epic fantasy. I live in Salt Lake City Utah with my family and many pets. I'm a collector of hobbies but have had a passion for storytelling since before I could write. My love for fantasy and sci-fi came from growing up watching The Hobbit, Willow, Dr. Who and Star Trek. My passion for writing epic fantasy began in 1999 when I read the Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. I've since read nearly the entire fantasy section at the bookstore. I've been an avid D&D player and game master since the early 90's and I plan to write books until I die.

I first published my debut novel, The Black Vale, back in 2014 and after many system and software problems, decided to re-edit it and re-publish. It was a long road though and finally got it republished in 2020 just before my second novel was set to come out.

My second novel, The Valley of Bones came out in December 2020.

I have a lot more work on the way. I'm currently working on book 3 in my Shadows of Cro Series as well as a quad of middle grade fantasy books and a post apocalyptic dragon rider/sorcery series.
