Dr. Robert Pressman

Dr. Pressman is a board certified family psychologist. For several decades he has been helping parents who are concerned about their children. He also enjoys treating young children and teens, doing research and writing books to help parents.

He heads the Learning Habit research team from Boston Children's Hospital, Medical School of Brown University, and Harvard Medical School

That team studied 43,000 families from all 50 states to find the most successful ways of helping children change their behavior. Based on that research, he co-author the best selling book, The Learning Habit. The successful methods found in the team's study, with Dr. Pressman's help, are easily learned and appear in How to Get Your Child to Do Anything with Just Three Words.

Drs. Robert and Stephanie Pressman, co-authors of several books, are both licensed psychotherapists. They have three children and four grandchildren. Living in Rhode Island, they love the ocean and the beaches. During the New England winters they enjoy a blazing fire in the fireplace, sipping hot chocolate, and plotting their next books.
