Paula Eleta

Paula G. Eleta is a sociologist, passionate storyteller, and expert in kamishibai and puppet theatre applied to education. For over twenty years, she has led training courses and experimental projects in Italy and abroad, establishing herself as a point of reference in the field of education and pedagogical innovation.

Originally from Buenos Aires, she has lived in Italy since 1990. She graduated in Sociology from the University of Buenos Aires and earned a PhD in Sociology and Social Policies from the University of Bologna. Her professional activity mainly focuses on educational pathways for early childhood (0–6 years) and adolescence, in collaboration with public institutions, third-sector organizations, and universities.

Her areas of research and practice include: interculturality and inclusive processes, educational continuity, playful-expressive methodologies for children and adolescents with special educational needs, education through puppet theatre and kamishibai, as well as the building of collaborative networks between schools, families, and educational communities.

She is also specialized in socio-educational project design and collaborates with third-sector organizations and with the Catholic University of Milan.

A frequent speaker at international conferences and seminars, she combines her scientific work with a strong creative activity: she has published more than 20 articles in international journals and 9 books, translated into several languages, consolidating her reputation as an author and innovator in the field of education.
