Welcome to my Author Pages! I am presently a Licensed Professional Counselor working with both adults and children, but have also worked as an Art Teacher, School Nurse, and School Counselor. A few years ago, I decided to give a lesson in empathy, but to my surprise found that there were few children's books on the subject. I then decided to use my artistic training to create a children's book entitled "How Do I Stand in Your Shoes?" From there I began writing and illustrating additional books whose themes were inspired by the many wonderful children I have spoken to throughout my various careers.

Now that I am retired from the educational system, I continue to write and illustrate new books based on issues faced by the clients that I currently counsel. I hope my books will inspire children everywhere to know that they possess the unique strengths and abilities to become successful individuals and that they can make a positive difference in the world around them!
