Elton Stubblefield

The accomplishments of the author as a research scientist of the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center from 1963 to 1990 have been extensive and impressive. Dr. Elton Stubblefield is a dedicated Christian, noted Bible teacher and lecturer with an immense understanding of the Bible.

He is known from scientific circles for the development of techniques which led to studies of DNA replication, chromosome structure, etc. that led to the eventual development of the Human Genome Program as well as other very important scientific accomplishments. He served as Professor of Genetics in the University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, teaching graduate courses and serving on advisory committees for about 50 graduate students.

He remains an active member of the Woodland Oaks church of Christ located near Houston, Texas where he serves as an Elder and Bible class teacher.
