Christene Barberich

Christene Barberich is the Editor-in-Chief and co-founder of the Webby-winning fashion and lifestyle site, Refinery29. Prior to launching R29 in 2005 with Philippe, Piera, and Justin, she held posts at Gourmet Magazine, The Daily, and The New Yorker. Her fashion and design writing have appeared in The New York Times, Travel & Leisure, New York Magazine, Dwell, and Elle Decoration among other titles. In addition to her editorial and new media work, she has provided brand consulting writing for a mix of fashion and lifestyle clients, including American Eagle, Nine West, Prada Beauté, Nike, Yves Saint Laurent, and others. She lives in Brooklyn.
