Dr. Stephen A. Timm

Dr. Stephen A. Timm, born and raised in south central Minnesota, currently lives in the Minnesota lakes county where, in the summer, he bird watches, hikes, bikes and canoes. During the long winters, he writes and cross county skies. He is the father to two grown sons and a daughter, and grandfather to three grandsons. His children and grandchildren are his inspiration for his Dragon and Mouse series of children's picture books about friendship, and his book The Floor That Said No More.

Dr. Timm established a private practice in psychology in 1978 in Fargo, North Dakota. Since then, as a psychotherapist, educator, and human resource consultant, he devotes his professional life to bringing simplicity, brevity, harmony, and occasionally, levity to humanity.
