Maggie Lenox

I'm Maggie Lenox, a retired Early Childhood Educator, Storyteller, and Author. I live in Texas, with my husband Bill of 40+ years. We have 2 grown children and are blessed with grandchildren.

I worked for the Head Start Program for 13 years. Every year, I prepared my class of preschoolers for kindergarten. To help with this transition, I would look for books to introduce them to the school community. So, I eventually decided to write a book about who works at school. My hope for my book's young readers: to take each of them on a journey of growth, from a curious and maybe even cautious child wondering, "Who's at this new school?...to a well-informed child confidently expressing, "I know who's at my school"
