Susan gained technical and creative writing skills through her life work and experiences. Her varied background as a Registered Nurse spanned Hospital, Army Nurse Corps, Developmental & Behavioral, Environmental, Nursing & Personal Care Homes, and Home Health. She is also a Registered Aromatherapist and a Healing Touch Practitioner-A.

Susan writes, “Words form in our thoughts and travel in our blood the issue of life. They begin long before they fill blank pages and they live long after the book is closed.”

She is the author of four books: The Strongest Bond, a memoir, that honored her mother’s memory, The Magic of Christmas-The Magic of Love, illustrated poems for children, The Magical Kingdom of Ing, an illustrated children's story in verse, and Want To Feel Better-Keep Lavender Handy, Essential oils, Energy, Safety, and Support.
