Leslie Howe

Hatshepsut, The Pharaoh's Daughter is Leslie Howe's first published novel. Raised in northeast Ohio, she now resides in Knoxville, Tennessee where she was recently named Teacher of the Year in recognition of her accomplishments as a teacher of mathematics. Her years in the classroom also led her to develop a complete line of software for the instruction of mathematical concepts as diverse as the symmetry of snowflakes to advanced calculus. Under the name Howe-Two Software, her programs are used in many high school computer labs.

Leslie's undergraduate degree is from Westminster College in Pennsylvania, and she also earned two master's degrees, one in mathematics from Cleveland State University and the other in theology from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. In her spare time, she enjoys programming, writing books and painting on porcelain. She and her husband, David, share a house with a dog named Ginger and a cat named Willow.
