Keith Nalumango

Born and raised in a British colony that was known as Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia), I experienced poverty at an early age. Not a single home in my community had running water, and about every child in my school walked around without shoes. Growing up, I went to school, like most of my friends, without shoes - even in the cold months of May to July. Soon after our country attained political independence, the new government demanded that every school child should contribute toward the construction of a university. A few years later, I studied at the new and only university in the land. My father, who was a retired teacher, wanted me to follow in his footsteps, so I studied English and History with education. Many years later, I became an editor at our parliament, and much later, a senior radio and television executive. THE AFRICAN JOURNALIST tells a dramatized version of my last three years in my country as a television executive. I wrote TOMBSTONE BLUES, a psychological thriller, under the pseudonym, Keith M. Noble. THE LOTTERY BULLY is my first full American story, and the setting for A FALSE EXILE is partially in Lusaka, Zambia, and partially in Atlanta, Georgia. My fifth novel, ROGUE CELEBRITY, a psychological thriller about fame and corruption in high olaces, was released in August 2025. I currently reside in Atlanta, GA, and Lusaka, Zambia.
