"Hello, readers! Thanks for your interest in my books."
Beverly McBride lives in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, in a town very much like Maryville...where the cold and deep snow in winter is a very good environment for writing. She's working now on #4 of the series, and on a "family saga" about 8 strong Southern women. Look for it next year! "I appreciate the overwhelming support for the "One Foot in Two Canoes" Series. When the series is done, it will be a life-work, of which I'll be very proud and proud to share with you."
Beverly was born in Florida, lived and worked there for many years then migrated to Michigan, living there with her family for 7 years before returning to Florida. She retired from working for the State, and returned "to the scene of her former triumphs" to Sault Ste. Marie, Mi, in the Upper Peninsula, close to the Canada Border.
Beverly has written 3 published books, "One Foot in Two Canoes", "Up the Creek" and "Without a Paddle". Each book is stand alone, but share events and characters. Each book has a theme about modern Native American life, and explores the challenges of balance in life, identity, overcoming adversity, serving the community, personal responsibility and modern customs.
