Anne Aylor

Born in New Mexico, Anne Aylor is an award-winning writer and teacher. She is the author of two novels, No Angel Hotel and The Double Happiness Company. “The House of Wild Beasts” was the 2014 winner of the Historical Novel Society International short story competition. An excerpt from her first novel was a winner in the BBC Radio 3 Short Story Competition. Her work has been shortlisted for the Bridport and Fish Short Story Prizes. She has taught over 100 creative writing courses in the UK, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, France and the US. In junior high she wrote a dialogue between a boll weevil and a planatation owner and performed it wearing a leotard with legs. www.anneaylor.co.uk
