Lois Jeavons

Lois Jeavons was born in 1923 in Pittsburgh, Pa.After her family relocated to Shaker Heights, Ohio, she attended the exclusive girls' school, known as Hathaway Brown. After graduating, she attended Smith College. Ballet was her first love, but writing was always a passion as well. At the age of 90, Lois feels writing will continue to play a most important role in her life. She is currently working on a sequel to "Manners, Morals and Myths" due to her readers' requests for one. It took Lois twenty years to finally finish her book due to personal commitments. When one of her friends told her that she would never finish if she didn't stop making cookies, Lois sat down in earnest and completed her novel.
