International consulting in a technical engineering office in Munich (Aluminium and steel processing).
1984-85
DAAD fellowship studies at the Shool of Public and Environmental Affairs, Indiana University (Bloomington Campus), USA.
1986-91
PHD (Doctor of Mechanical Engineering) research project at an aluminium plant in the field of continuous casting. Dissertation “cum laude” at the Technical University of Munich.
Appointed Technical Director of the company “Dick, Fine Tools” (now dictum) in Metten, Germany.
1996-2007
Managing Director of Dick Fine Tools, making the traditional family business together with his brother Rrof. Dr. Heinrich Dick to one of the worldwide leading high quality hand tool suppliers.
2006 national award for “Best German Business Catalog”.

Married to the gynecologist Dr. Angelika Drs, living in Deggendorf and Munich, Germany.
In my leisure time sailing, rowing, woodworking and going to classic concerts are my favorites.
