James Jenkins

Jim Jenkins (1965-present) was born in Lansing, Michigan, but spent most of his childhood in L.A.—that's Lower Alabama, not Los Angeles! He's done some college and the Army, plus a whole lot of wandering before he finally settled down in Kansas City thirty-five years ago. Here he met and married his late wife Taggie, and they enjoyed thirteen wonderful years together before death took her away. Jim has a variety of interests, including American and European history, good food (way too much!), historical and creative writing, poetry, literature, the great outdoors, and art (especially the art of the pulps). Having finally retired after forty years of working for 'the man,' he is devoting all of his time now to writing, researching new books, and playing with his cat, Charlie.
