Bernard F. Morrey

Dr. Morrey was a NASA engineer before he left to attend medical school at the University of Texas, Galveston. He was trained in Orthopedics at the Mayo Clinic and after two years service in the Air Force he returned to spend the next 31 years as a Consultant in Orthopedics specializing in joint reconstruction. At Mayo Morrey was Chair of Orthopedics and a member of the Board of Governors of Mayo. Currently he has a part time appointment and a Professor of Orthopedics at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. He has published 435 peer reviewed papers and is the editor of multiple editions of four major textbooks in Orthopedics.
