►My Communications Background◄

Based on years of teaching science and math on the secondary level in NYC, I began writing science texts for a variety of publishers. Both teaching and text writing focused my work on producing clear, understandable copy. I then began writing about my main interest—healthcare and medicine.

Through my work at a number of healthcare advertising agencies, I gained wide experience as a medical writer of promotional, educational, and promotional-education content for healthcare professionals, patients, and consumers. My teaching background contributed significantly to writing both medical education and patient/consumer education pieces. As a copy supervisor, I participated in the strategy and development of marketing campaigns and educational programs. My work as a freelance medical writer has expanded my knowledge in an extensive range of therapeutic areas.
