Katherine C. Havener

Katherine Havener is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), and a retired La Leche League Leader. She is also an attorney. She is passionate about breastfeeding, attachment parenting, and natural family living. She has four beautiful girls ranging from toddler to teen. Her inspiration for Nursies was her daughter Elea, who, for the first 22 months of her life, woke up every two hours to nurse. Katherine has been happily married to her husband, Reese, for seventeen years. Since Nursies was first published in 2011, it has sold more than 10,000 copies around the world.
