Allen Andrew Cooper

Allen Andrew Cooper was born in Mississippi but has called the Yellowstone Region and Montana his home since he was a teenager. The lure of millions of acres of wilderness and wild rivers called him before he ever laid eyes on the west that he enjoys writing about. He enjoys weaving the richness of human nature with the wilderness into his stories.

He won the Southern Literary Festival with a one-act play, has written numerous articles and blogs, has had music publishing contracts in Nashville and Los Angeles. When he is not writing, Al enjoys being a river guide, performing songwriter and life coach. He makes his home near Red Lodge, Montana with his two children, two Labradors and a really lazy cat.
