Hi! My writer's name is Anad Trebolt. By day I am a Registered Nurse (I practice under my given name) and I live and work in Philadelphia, PA. I love to shop for handbags, shoes, lipstick and I'm a serious You-Tube fan.
I'm an avid reader and my favorite authors are Stephen King, Maya Angelou, Toni Morrison, Zora Neal Hurston, James Patterson, Kathleen Woodiwiss, Barbara Cartland,Tami Hoag, Peter Straub, Isabel Allende, Diane Mckinny-Whetsone, Walter Mosely, Beverly Jenkins, and the phenomenal James Baldwin to name a few. Each of these authors has impressed me with their view of the human condition which has encouraged me to listen to and write with my own voice.
I started taking my writing seriously when I couldn't find a romantic thriller about professional (regular working type) people of color. Maybe I wasn't looking in the right section of the book store, but I couldn't find what I was looking for. And then I noticed how scant the romance section for people of color was. It's been ten years since that day and I've noticed how much better my reading choices are, but instead of complaining, I've decided to throw my two cents in.
I write erotica, erotic romance, romantic thrillers, crime fiction and on occasion, sweet romance.
So far, most of my work comprises of short stories for those of you who don't have a lot of time but want a quick escape and almost all of my stories have at least one truly hot sex scene in them.
Since I am a black woman, I strive to write romance and erotica from a woman of color as well as from a professional woman's perspective. Both of these ingredients lends a different flavor to each story which I hope you will enjoy.
I also write a blog about ways to achieve a good sex life because I believe that a healthy sex life begets a healthy life. Releasing sexual tension leads to relaxed state that allows you to forgive, forget and move on to enjoy the good things that life has to offer.
I love feedback (as you will find most authors do) so feel free to leave a post or comment on my website at eroticaforever.com or tweet me @anadwrites on twitter or check out my favorite pins and sayings in the Creative Room which is my Pinterest page. Talk to me, share your thoughts about a story I wrote, or my blog posts or maybe even about a story or character you’d like to see.
